What is the reason for the decrease in cooling effectiveness of air cooled water chiller system?

The poor insulation performance of low-temperature water chillers is caused by insufficient thickness of insulation layers such as pipelines and warehouse insulation walls, resulting in poor insulation effects.

This is mainly due to improper selection of insulation layer thickness during design or poor quality of insulation materials during construction.

In addition, during construction and use, the insulation and moisture-proof properties may also be damaged, resulting in moisture and deformation of the insulation layer.

Too thick frost or too much dust on the evaporator surface will reduce the heat exchange effect.

Another important reason for the slow decrease in temperature of the injection molding chiller is the low heat transfer efficiency of the evaporator, which is mainly caused by frost or dust accumulation on the surface of the evaporator.

Because the surface temperature of cold storage evaporators is mostly below 0 ℃, and the humidity inside the warehouse is relatively high, the moisture in the air is prone to frost or even ice on the evaporator surface, thereby affecting the heat transfer of the evaporator.

There is a large amount of air or refrigerant oil in the evaporator, which reduces the heat exchange effect.

When there is more refrigerant oil attached to the inner surface of the evaporator heat exchange tube, its heat transfer coefficient will decrease.

Similarly, if there is more air in the tube, the heat exchange area of the evaporator will decrease, the heat exchange efficiency will be significantly reduced, and the temperature drop rate in the storage room will also be slowed down.
