How to handle the operation failure of the centrifugal water pump in a medical chillers?

Industry News 4970

How to handle the operation failure of the centrifugal water pump in a medical chillers?

  Abnormal noise from water pump

  1. There is air inside the water pump, causing a decrease in pump efficiency and abnormal noise. Common reasons for affecting the circulation of cooling water include loose pipeline screws, aging parts with air holes, and failure of sealing valves.

The solution is to replace the water pump, or inspect and repair key damaged parts of the water pump to restore them to normal values.

  2. The circulating water system has scale, causing blockage of the circulating water circuit and causing abnormal noise.

The solution is to short circuit the inlet and outlet, allow the water circuit of the chiller to circulate automatically, investigate whether the pipeline blockage is caused by external or internal factors, and determine whether the internal blockage is caused by using a descaling agent to remove the scale. Then, use purified water/distilled water as the circulating cooling water.

There is a foreign object inside the water pump. Check and repair to remove the foreign object.

  Water pump burnt out

The possible causes of water pump burnout in medical refrigerators are as follows:

  1. The unstable power supply voltage of the medical refrigerator caused the water pump of the medical refrigerator to burn out.

  2. The medical refrigerator experienced a water leakage problem and the user did not promptly notice and turn off the chiller. After the circulating cooling water was leaked, the chiller water pump dried and ground, resulting in the water pump being burned out.

  3. Voltage frequency usage error.

  4. The water pump circuit board is short circuited and burnt out.

  Solution: Replace the water pump
