  There are many reasons for power failure, mainly manifested in the following three points:

  The three-phase power supply of the power supply system is out of phase. The commonly used power supply for industrial chillers is 3-phase, 380V, and 50HZ. If the power supply line is damaged, or the switch and cable are loosened, as well as the contact fault of the switch itself, it can lead to phase loss. Especially, the fault of the switch itself is relatively common, and this type of fault can be detected using a multimeter.

  Secondly, the parameter settings of the power supply system switch do not meet the requirements. After eliminating the quality issue of the switch, the industrial chiller will still trip during startup. Therefore, we need to check the parameter settings.

  If the allowable working current of the switch is less than the starting current, there will definitely be a starting tripping phenomenon; If the short delay current parameter is set too low, the industrial chiller will trip when it is affected by the impact current when it transitions from low speed to high speed.

  Therefore, during maintenance, it is necessary to check the switch parameters and adjust them to the appropriate state, and set A and B protection for the switch parameters to prevent incorrect operation by others.

  Thirdly, there is a quality issue with the three-phase output of the power supply system. For example, if the three-phase power supply voltage is insufficient or the output is unbalanced, the relay will break the voltage or start the protection action, which will lead to the shutdown of the industrial water chiller. Such problems are generally caused by the failure of the power supply equipment or the heavy line load.
